Darg

A new phone

Your account is not tied to a phone. Your records are kept by Darg, not on the device.

  1. Install Darg on the new phone.
  2. Tap Sign in and enter your email or mobile number and your password.
  3. The first time you clock in, allow location while using the app.

Your timesheet and leave are there as before. Nothing has to be changed by your manager.

On the old phone, open the Account tab and tap Sign out.

Sign in on the new phone, then change your password: Account, Change password. This signs out every other device.

Change it in the app. See Change your mobile number. We text a code to the new number. Darg texts Australian mobile numbers only.

Already lost the old number? You can still sign in with it and your password, then change it. If you also forgot your password, reset it with the email address on your account. See Forgot your password.

You cannot sign in and cannot reset your password, because the reset code goes to an email address or mobile number you no longer have, or your account has neither. Ask an admin at work for new sign-in details.

  1. Your admin enters a new email address or mobile number for you. It has to be one that has never been used with Darg.
  2. Darg emails or texts you at the new address or number.
  3. In the app, tap Create account and use that email address or mobile number. Do not sign in to an account you already have.
  4. Under Invitations, the invitation says Your existing record. Your hours and leave stay with you. Tap Accept.

Your timesheet, hours and leave are there as before, and you keep your role and shift. Your old account can no longer open your organisation.

If the app says the invitation only works with a new account, you signed in to an existing one. Sign out, tap Create account, and use the new email address or mobile number.
