Clock in and out

Open the Clock tab.

Clock in

1. Go to your work location.
2. Tap CLOCK IN. The app finds your location, which can take up to 10 seconds.
3. You see Clocked in with your shift. Tap Done.

The time recorded is when the clock in reaches Darg, not a time you choose.

Before you clock in, the Clock tab shows your shift for today. It may say Day off, No set hours or No shift assigned. You can still clock in.

Clock out

1. Tap CLOCK OUT.
2. The app asks Clock out now? and shows how long you have worked. Tap Clock out.
3. You see Clocked out with your start, finish and hours. Tap Done.

You cannot undo a clock out yourself. If you clocked out by mistake, ask your manager.

Your location

The first time you clock in, the app explains why it needs your location, then your phone asks for permission. Allow it while using the app.

Darg reads your location only at the moment you clock in or out. It does not track you in between.

If your shift lets you work anywhere, you can clock in away from a work site. The app shows Off site and how far you were from the nearest one.

If it was not accepted

The app tells you why and what to do next. See A clock in or out was not accepted.

If you have no signal

The app shows Not recorded. No connection.

• Tap Retry when you have signal. You have 15 minutes from when you first tapped.
• After that it is too late to retry, because a retry would be recorded at the later time. Tap Add missed entry if you see it, or ask your manager to add it. Tap Discard to clear the message.

If you forgot to clock out

The Clock tab shows You didn’t clock out on and the date. Tap Fix it to add the clock out yourself. If there is no Fix it, ask your manager to add it.

After a while a forgotten shift closes by itself, and you can clock in for your next shift as usual.
